This is the original version of "Circle Of Life" with Jiminy Cricket as host, not the version released on DVD with new title cards and additional songs from The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa and The Jungle Book 2.
This US release has a rare master for "Circle Of Life" compared to the one used for the VHS and the JP release. This master has an alternate audio take for Jiminy's respective introductions to "Part of Your World" and "When You Wish Upon a Star". Also, the scene with Shun Gon playing the piano with chopsticks on "Everybody Wants to Be a Cat" is cut out, possibly to make room for the 60-minute runtime on this LD.
